Dear Parents and Children:
I am happy to announce again that our parish will celebrate the Monthly Children's Mass, for all the children of our parish, on the third Sunday of each month.
From September to June, a particular grade or grades has signed up for a Monthly Children's Mass. This Monthly Children's Mass gives children a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Sunday Mass as a family.
Following the 9:30 a.m. Mass we suggest having light refreshments and snacks served in the Rectory Meeting Room. Here is another way where children and parents can work together by providing the hospitality:
- Provide refreshments (water, juice, milk, coffee and tea)
- Making or providing the snacks like cookies, munchkins, brownies, etc...
- Clean up
This gathering enables the children and parents to meet each other and build our parish community.
How can you as a family get involved?
Please talk things over at home and then decide what you can commit to in order to make your Monthly Children's Mass a wonderful spiritual experience that can only bring God's blessings to all. Parents of the sponsoring grade will be given a check list to indicate what they will provide for the social.
